In a Scottish first, Kimpton Blythswood Square is proud to introduce La Chambre Verte, an immersive luxury hotel room experiment that measures the psychological and physical benefits of biophilic design.
Partnering with luxury CBD skincare brand, La Rue Verte, leading horticulturalists, Benholm and award-winning DJ, Brian D’Souza, we’ve created a multi-sensory experience combining the theory of biophilia with CBD rituals, meditation and sound therapy.
Echoing the practice of forest-bathing, an ancient Japanese process of relaxation, La Chambre Verte encourages guests to unwind in the green space of their hotel room, while observing nature’s beauty to feel stress levels reduced, happiness increased, and importantly, a better night’s sleep.
Along with trailing ivies cascading down the walls of the room, monstera leaves and palm fronds gracing every view and eclectic clusters of plants to purify the air and boost the immune system, guests of La Chambre Verte will enjoy a retreat curated by La Rue Verte, which includes:
- Welcome CBD and vitamin-infused cocktails
- Virtual guided meditation
- La Rue Verte signature bath products
- La Rue Verte CBD body oil
- Ambient flow soundscape
- Biodegradable hemp yoga mat
Guests can also experience a bespoke nature-based soundscape within the room, composed by Brian D’Souza of Open Ear Music (aka award-winning DJ and Producer, Auntie Flo). A rejuvenating sunrise flow and calming twilight track help trigger the brain into a deep meditative state of relaxation and feeling of euphoria.
